Two-set 915 MHz LoRa antenna kit

This SMUGDESK package delivers two complete 10 dBi omnidirectional whip antennas calibrated for the 902–928 MHz ISM band. Each set includes a flexible 7-inch soft rubber antenna with an SMA Male connector plus a matched MHF1 (U.FL) extension cable. The kit targets builders of Meshtastic mesh nodes, LoRaWAN gateways and LPWAN IoT modules who need longer range than stock antennas provide.

Bundled MHF1 jumper cables solve module mounting

The supplied MHF1 extension adapters convert the antenna’s SMA Male plug to the tiny onboard MHF1 pad found on many ESP32 and RAK LoRa boards. This lets designers route the whip outside a compact enclosure while keeping the radio module on its original PCB. Two identical cable sets are included so both antennas in the package are ready for immediate deployment.

10 dBi gain at 50 Ω impedance decides suitability

The antennas are tuned for 915 MHz centre frequency with low VSWR across the 902–928 MHz band and present a standard 50 Ω load. That 10 dBi gain figure is the single metric that determines whether the kit meets a project’s link-budget requirement; applications needing higher or lower gain, different polarisation or another frequency band will not be served by this hardware.
