Dual-band RP-SMA antenna with 6.5ft cable

This dual-band antenna operates on 2.4GHz and 5GHz frequencies using an RP-SMA connector. It is designed for desktop computers, PCI or PCIe WiFi and Bluetooth cards, routers, access points, hotspots, wireless range extenders and security cameras. The 6.5ft extension cable lets you position the antenna away from the chassis for better reception.

Magnetic base and adjustable stubs for stable

The strong magnetic base holds the antenna vertically on steel surfaces such as a PC case or rack. Two adjustable stubs can be angled independently to optimise signal pickup. The long cable allows relocation without stress on the connector, helping maintain a consistent link when multiple devices are active.

RP-SMA interface limits compatibility to matching

The RP-SMA connector fits only devices with the same RP-SMA jack; it will not mate with standard SMA or other antenna ports. The 6.5ft cable length sets the maximum distance between the antenna and the host device. Buyers whose equipment uses a different antenna connector or requires a longer cable run cannot use this antenna without an adapter or replacement cable.

Questions about this item

Will the RP-SMA connectors on this antenna fit the PCIe Wi-Fi card I already own?

The antenna uses RP-SMA male plugs, which match the RP-SMA female jacks found on most desktop PCIe Wi-Fi and Bluetooth cards.

Does the 6.5 ft cable let me place the antenna away from a noisy power supply?

Yes, the 6.5 ft extension cable lets you position the magnetic base on a steel surface far from the PC chassis for clearer reception.

Can I use this dual-band antenna with an older 2.4 GHz only router?

The antenna covers 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz, so it will work on the 2.4 GHz band of an older router while leaving 5 GHz available for newer devices.
