2x2 HDMI 2.0 Matrix Switch

This SMUGDESK matrix switch routes two HDMI sources to two displays with independent resolution control for each output. A built-in scaler allows a 4K TV and a 1080P monitor to run simultaneously at their native settings. Audio is extracted separately through SPDIF optical and 3.5mm analogue ports for external sound systems. The aluminium casing provides passive cooling for continuous operation.

Ideal for dual-display setups needing different

Home-theatre owners, gamers and office users who connect consoles, PCs or media players to mismatched screens will benefit from the per-output scaling. Buyers who only need to mirror one source to one screen or who require more than two inputs or outputs should consider a simpler splitter or a larger matrix instead.

18Gbps bandwidth with HDCP 2.2 bypass

The 18Gbps HDMI 2.0 link carries 4K@60Hz HDR10 and 3D video while the HDCP 2.2 bypass ensures protected content plays without handshake failures. This bandwidth figure is the deciding specification for matching source capabilities and display requirements.

Questions about this item

Does the 18Gbps bandwidth limit 4K output to 60Hz?

Yes, the 18Gbps bandwidth supports 4K at 60Hz with HDR10 and 3D, and does not exceed that refresh rate.

How does the aluminum casing manage heat during continuous operation?

The aluminum alloy shell provides passive heat dissipation and anti-interference shielding without fans, keeping the unit stable for all-day use in home theaters or offices.

Which audio outputs are available for connecting external speakers?

The switch extracts audio through an SPDIF optical port for surround sound and a 3.5mm jack for stereo, letting you connect soundbars, amplifiers or headphones directly.
