4×1 HDMI 2.0 Switch with Audio Extraction
The SMUGDESK 4×1 HDMI 2.0 Switch connects four source devices to one display while extracting audio through three separate outputs. Optical SPDIF, Coaxial digital and 3.5mm analog ports operate independently from the video signal. An IR remote and front button provide switching control. The unit handles 18Gbps bandwidth with HDCP2.2 compliance for protected content playback.
Replaces Separate Switch and Audio Splitter Boxes
A single box now performs the job of a basic HDMI selector plus a dedicated audio de-embedder. The jump is worthwhile when you want 4K@60Hz or 1080P@120Hz video alongside simultaneous multi-format audio output without adding extra cables or power supplies. It also supports 3D and HDR pass-through for compatible sources. Driver-free operation means no software updates to manage.
Fits Home Theater and Multi-Console Desk Setups
The switch sits between game consoles, streaming sticks or media players and the TV or monitor. ARC pulls internal smart TV app audio out to external speakers or an amplifier through the same HDMI cable. Three audio outputs free up connection options for soundbars, headphones or legacy receivers. Compact, driver-free design suits permanent rack mounting or portable use.

Questions about this item
What physical space and ports are needed to mount this 4×1 HDMI 2.0 switch?
The compact unit requires a flat surface near your display and power outlet, with room for four HDMI input cables, one HDMI output cable, plus optical SPDIF, coaxial and 3.5 mm audio cables.
How is the switch installed and which step do people often miss?
Connect each source to the four HDMI inputs, link the output to your screen, attach the included power adapter, then select the active input using the front button or IR remote — users sometimes forget the power adapter.
What maintenance or replacement will the IR remote need later?
The IR remote runs on a standard button cell that will eventually need replacing; the switch itself is driver-free with no firmware updates, so no other parts require routine service.
