4×1 HDMI 2.0 Switch for Multi-Source Setups

This SMUGDESK switch connects four HDMI sources to a single display, reducing cable clutter for home entertainment or desktop users. It handles game consoles, computers and media players with one output to a TV, monitor or projector. The built-in audio extractor and ARC return channel send sound to external speakers or soundbars. It suits anyone juggling several 4K devices on one screen.

Replaces Manual Cable Swapping and Basic Splitters

The unit upgrades from repeatedly unplugging cables or using passive splitters that cannot switch active signals. The jump is worth it when you need reliable 4K@60Hz HDR10 switching across four ports with HDCP 2.2 compliance. It also adds independent audio extraction that basic switches lack. Buyers who only ever use one source device will not benefit from the extra ports.

IR Remote and Button Control with Auto Switching

Installation uses the included IR remote or the front-panel button, and the box supports automatic signal detection for hands-free changes. Ensure all cables meet the 18Gbps bandwidth requirement for 4K@60Hz stability. The most common issue is handshake failure when source devices output resolutions or refresh rates outside the HDMI 2.0 specification. Power the switch before connecting sources for best results.
