4 In 4 Out USB 3.0 Sharing Switch

The SMUGDESK switch lets four separate computers each control their own set of up to four USB 3.0 peripherals at the same time. A single physical button toggles the active host instantly without installing drivers or software. An integrated 3.5 mm stereo jack passes the selected computer's audio to one headset or speaker pair. The unit is ready to use straight from the box.

Suited to multi-computer desks needing independent

Ideal for offices, design stations or home labs where each PC must keep its own mouse, keyboard, printer, scanner or storage drive permanently connected. The shared audio path simplifies conference calls and media playback across hosts. Users who only need to share one peripheral group between machines, or who require more than four host ports, should consider a different configuration.

USB 3.0 5 Gbps data rate

The switch operates at the USB 3.0 Gen1 signalling speed of 5 Gbps, so large design files, raw images and backups move quickly between the active computer and attached drives. This bandwidth avoids the bottlenecks common with older 2.0 switches during heavy file transfers.
