4-Port HDMI 2.0 Switch with IR Remote

This SMUGDESK 4-port HDMI 2.0 switch connects four source devices to a single display, removing the need for constant cable swapping. It supports 4K@60Hz resolution with 18.5Gbps bandwidth, HDR10, Dolby Vision, HDCP 2.2 and 3D formats. The unit includes an IR remote and a manual button for convenient switching. Plug-and-play operation requires no drivers or external power supply.

Home theater users needing multiple 4K sources

The switch suits owners of game consoles, streaming sticks, Blu-ray players or PCs who share one TV, monitor or projector. It delivers lossless audio and video with no lag, flicker or colour distortion. Buyers who require more than four inputs or need to send one source to multiple displays should look at a different type of device.

HDMI 2.0 18.5Gbps bandwidth limit

The single specification that decides compatibility is the 18.5Gbps bandwidth ceiling of the HDMI 2.0 standard. Signals that exceed this throughput — such as higher refresh rates at 4K or resolutions beyond 4K — will not pass through this switch. Verify your source and display requirements against this limit before purchasing.

Questions about this item

Which version should I choose for a 4K 60 Hz setup?

This model is the single version available and already supports 4K@60Hz, HDR10, Dolby Vision and HDCP 2.2, so no alternative capacity or spec needs selecting.

What does the 18.5 Gbps bandwidth deliver when connected?

It carries the full HDMI 2.0 data rate needed for 4K@60Hz with HDR10 and Dolby Vision, providing lossless video and audio without lag or flicker.

How does the HDMI 2.0 interface limit what I can run?

HDMI 2.0 caps the link at 18.5 Gbps, so 4K is limited to 60 Hz; higher refresh rates or newer HDMI 2.1 features are not supported.
