Five-port HDMI switch for multiple sources

This 5 in 1 out HDMI switch connects up to five HDMI sources to a single display, solving the problem of limited input ports on monitors, TVs or projectors. It is suited for home-theatre setups, office meeting rooms or entertainment centres where several consoles, players or laptops share one screen. Buyers who need more than five simultaneous inputs or require higher refresh rates at 4K should look elsewhere.

Verify HDMI 1.4 ports and 4K@30Hz support

Before ordering, confirm that each source device and the display have standard HDMI 1.4 ports and can operate at 4K@30Hz, HDR, 3D or 1080P as required. The unit includes an IR remote and auto-switching, so ensure line-of-sight for the remote and that source devices send a detectable signal for automatic switching to function. No external power supply is mentioned, so the switch draws power from the connected HDMI cables.

Passive operation with HDCP decoding

The switch operates passively from HDMI bus power, adding no fan noise and negligible heat to the installation. Built-in HDCP decoding maintains stable, lossless transmission of protected content without screen flashing or signal distortion. Power draw is limited to what the source ports provide, so normal use remains silent and cool.

Questions about this item

Does the box include HDMI cables for the five inputs and the single output, or do I need to buy them separately?

The package contains the switch unit, an IR remote control and a power adapter; HDMI cables for the five sources and the display are not included and must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this HDMI 1.4 model or look for a different version to get 4K at 30 Hz with HDR and 3D support?

This switch is built to the HDMI 1.4 standard and already delivers 4K at 30 Hz together with HDR and 3D, so no higher-specification alternative is needed for those features.

What does the 4K@30Hz rating mean when I connect a PS4 or Blu-ray player to my 4K TV through this switch?

The switch will pass a 4K signal at up to 30 frames per second with HDR and 3D intact, matching the HDMI 1.4 bandwidth limit; 1080p content runs at the full native rate without downscaling.
