Active USB 3.0 Extension Cable 65 ft

The SMUGDESK active USB 3.0 extension cable spans 65 ft and includes built-in signal booster chips to maintain SuperSpeed performance over long distances. A DC 5V 2A power adapter is supplied for stable operation with higher-draw peripherals. Gold-plated USB-A male to USB-A female connectors require no driver installation.

Suits VR setups and distant peripherals

This cable targets users linking Oculus Rift, Quest or Quest 2 headsets, Xbox One consoles, keyboards, flash drives, printers or hubs across rooms where standard cables fall short. It is not for buyers who need USB-C connectors or internal header connections.

5 Gbps data rate with active signal boost

The integrated booster chips deliver a 5 Gbps transfer rate at 65 ft, overcoming the length limits of passive copper. Triple shielding and 22 AWG tinned copper conductors preserve signal integrity for demanding devices.

Questions about this item

What USB port must my computer have to use this 65 ft active extension cable?

Your computer needs a USB 3.0 Type-A port; the cable also works with USB 2.0 ports at reduced speed.

Will my older USB 2.0 flash drives and keyboards still work through this 65 ft cable?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices, though they will run at 2.0 speeds instead of 5 Gbps.

How can I verify the cable is delivering the full 5 Gbps SuperSpeed link after I connect it?

Check your operating system’s device manager or system report; the connected device should list a 5 Gbps transfer rate.
