What this charger is and who it is for

This 65W GaN charger delivers high-speed power through a USB-C port for notebooks and handheld devices. It suits users who want a compact wall adapter that can charge a MacBook Air 2020, MacBook Pro 13'', Dell XPS 13 9380 or ThinkPad X390 at full speed. It also supports fast charging for iPhone 8 and later, 2020 iPad Pro 11 and Samsung flagship phones. Buyers who need multiple simultaneous high-wattage outputs or a desktop multi-port hub will not find that here.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

Gallium nitride technology replaces silicon to keep the charger small while maintaining 65W output, which reduces heat buildup during extended charging sessions. The unit operates silently with no moving parts and draws only the power required by the connected device. It conforms to the IEC 62368-1 safety standard for reliable thermal performance. No fan noise or coil whine is present under typical loads.

What the bundled accessories

The product ships as a standalone white wall charger with no additional cables, adapters or software included. Users must supply their own USB-C cable matched to the device they are charging. There is no companion app or firmware utility to configure power profiles. The only change from a basic charger is the GaN II construction that enables the higher wattage in a smaller form factor.

Questions about this item

How do I install the 65W GaN charger and what step do people often miss?

Plug the charger into a wall socket and connect your device via the USB-C cable; the step many miss is confirming the device negotiates 65W USB-PD before assuming full-speed charging.

What maintenance or replacement will the 65W GaN charger need later?

No routine maintenance is required; replace the unit only if the USB-C port becomes loose, the casing cracks, or it no longer delivers the rated 65W output.

What limit appears first on the 65W GaN charger during sustained use?

The charger will throttle output once its internal temperature reaches the IEC 62368-1 safety limit, reducing power until it cools.
