7-Port HDMI 2.0 Switch for Multi-Source Setups

This SMUGDESK selector connects up to seven HDMI source devices to a single display, solving the problem of limited TV or monitor ports. It is built for users running multiple game consoles, streaming sticks, Blu-ray players or laptops who want instant switching without cable swapping.

Verify Display and Cable Compatibility Before

Your display must accept a 4K signal at 60 Hz over HDMI 2.0 to use the full 18 Gbps bandwidth; the switch is backward compatible with 1080p and 720p sources. Ensure each source device outputs a standard HDMI signal and that your cables are rated for the resolution and refresh rate you intend to run.

Fits Between Sources and One Screen with External

The unit sits between your devices and the display, requiring a free power outlet for the included 5 V DC adapter. Gold-plated ports and a metal chassis reduce signal loss and interference, while HDCP 2.2 and HDR10 support keep protected streaming content and high dynamic range video intact across the single output.

Questions about this item

Does the switch include the power supply and cables, or must they be bought separately?

The box contains the switch unit, an IR remote control and an external 5V DC power adapter; seven HDMI input cables and one HDMI output cable are not included and must be purchased separately.

With seven identical HDMI inputs, how should I decide which device to connect to which port?

All seven ports support the same 18Gbps bandwidth and 4K@60Hz capability, so any source — game console, streaming stick, Blu-ray player or laptop — can be plugged into any input; choose ports based on cable reach and labelling convenience.

What does the 18Gbps bandwidth actually deliver when the switch is connected to a 4K display?

It enables native 4K resolution at 60Hz with HDR10, 36-bit deep colour and lossless surround formats such as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD, while remaining backward compatible with 1080P, 720P and 3D content.
