Right-angle USB-C cable for tight spaces

This 1.5 ft USB-C to USB-C cable features a 90-degree connector designed for cramped ports behind monitors or docks. It carries up to 40 Gbps data and 240 W power delivery, making it suitable for high-performance laptops, external GPUs and 8K displays. The nylon braid resists wear from frequent bending.

Bandwidth and display limits

Data speed reaches 40 Gbps with USB4 Gen3x2 devices, dropping to 20 Gbps on Gen2 ports. Video output supports a single 8K display at 60 Hz or dual 4K displays at 60 Hz, plus 4K at 144 Hz on compatible hosts. Power delivery negotiates down from 240 W through 180 W, 140 W, 100 W, 60 W and 45 W steps.

Simple plug-in with one alignment catch

No drivers are required; the cable works immediately with any USB-C port. The right-angle plug only fits one orientation, so verify the port layout before seating it. Buyers who need a straight connector or a longer reach for desk routing should choose a different cable.

Questions about this item

Should I choose the 1.5 ft length or a longer cable for my setup?

The 1.5 ft cable suits tight spaces like docking stations or eGPU enclosures; pick a longer version only if the devices sit further apart.

What does the 40 Gbps rating deliver when I connect my laptop to an eGPU dock?

With a USB4 Gen3x2 port the link runs at 40 Gbps, giving full eGPU bandwidth; on a USB 3.2 Gen 2 port it caps at 20 Gbps.

How does the USB4 interface limit real-world charging and video?

The USB4 connection carries up to 240 W at 48 V/5 A and drives single 8K 60 Hz or dual 4K 60 Hz displays, provided both host and monitor support those modes.
