Black nylon-braided USB-C cable with 90-degree angled connector, five feet long

SMUGDESK 90° USB-C to USB-C Cable 40Gbps 240W 5ft

SKU CH-1V83-K4Q3W

Right-angle USB-C cable delivers 40 Gbps data, 240 W charging and 8K 60 Hz video over five feet

Cable Length 5 Feet

  • Charge devices up to 240W with compatible power sources
  • Transfer large files at up to 40Gbps bandwidth
  • Connect a single 8K display at 60Hz or dual 4K at 60Hz
  • Right-angle 90° connector fits tight spaces behind equipment
  • Works with USB 3.1, USB 3.2 and USB4 Gen3x2 hosts

Right-angle USB-C cable for tight ports

This 5 ft cable has a 90 degree USB-C male connector on one end and a straight USB-C male on the other. It suits users who need a cable that runs flat against a laptop or dock in confined spaces. The nylon-braided jacket resists wear from repeated bending near the connector.

Plug in and use; watch the port spec

No driver installation is required on any USB-C device. The right-angle plug only fits one orientation, so align the flat side with the port before pushing. Data speed will fall to 20 Gbps on USB 3.2 Gen 2 ports and reach 40 Gbps only on USB4 Gen 3×2 or Thunderbolt 4 ports.

Check power and video needs first

Your charger must support USB Power Delivery up to 240 W (48 V/5 A) to get the maximum charging rate; lower-wattage chargers will still work at their rated output. For 8K at 60 Hz or dual 4K at 60 Hz video, both the host and the display must accept that resolution over USB-C Alt Mode.

Questions about this item

How can I confirm the cable is delivering 40Gbps after connecting it?

The host device must report a USB4 Gen3x2 link; on Windows check Device Manager or on macOS use System Report to verify the active speed shows 40Gbps.

What comes in the box and do I need a separate charger for 240W?

Only the 5ft right-angle USB-C to USB-C cable is included; a 240W-capable USB-C power adapter must be purchased separately.

Should I choose this 5ft 40Gbps version or a shorter one for my eGPU dock?

The 5ft length maintains full 40Gbps bandwidth for eGPU use; select it if you need the reach, otherwise a shorter certified USB4 cable would also work.
