SMUGDESK AVPS12G Gigabit PoE Splitter 48V to 12V 2A

Purpose and fit

The SMUGDESK AVPS12G Gigabit PoE Splitter converts 48V PoE input into a stable 12V 2A DC output for non-PoE network devices. It is built for installers and network managers who need to power security cameras, wireless access points or VoIP phones from existing PoE infrastructure.

Build integration

The unit sits inline between a PoE switch or injector and the target device, separating power and data without configuration. It passes 10/100/1000Mbps Ethernet traffic with no speed loss while delivering up to 12V 2A to the connected load. Internal protection circuits guard against overvoltage, overcurrent and short-circuit conditions.

Capacity and headroom

Compliant with IEEE 802.3af, the splitter works with most standard PoE power sourcing equipment and supplies sufficient current for typical 12V surveillance and access-point hardware. Devices requiring higher voltage or current draw beyond 2A will need a different power solution.
