SKU CH-R1BZ-1GCBF

Adds dual gigabit RJ45 ports via PCIe x1 using Broadcom BCM5718 with link aggregation, VLAN, jumbo frames and both bracket heights

  • Dual gigabit ports with link aggregation and failover via BCM5718 chip
  • PCIe x1 card fits x1, x4, x8 and x16 slots for easy desktop or NAS install
  • Wake-on-LAN, PXE boot, 802.1Q VLAN and TCP/IP offload lower CPU load
  • 9 KB jumbo frames reduce overhead for smoother high-throughput transfers
  • Full-height and low-profile brackets included for standard and slim chassis

Dual Gigabit Ports for NAS and Servers

This PCIe network adapter adds two RJ45 Gigabit Ethernet ports using the Broadcom BCM5718 controller. It targets home NAS builders, small office servers and industrial hosts that need link aggregation or network backup for stable wired throughput.

Verify Slot Type and Bracket Clearance

Ensure the motherboard has a free PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot and choose the full-height or low-profile bracket that matches the chassis. The operating system must support Wake-on-LAN, PXE boot, 802.1Q VLAN, TCP/IP hardware offload or 9KB jumbo frames if those features are required.

Frees Onboard Ports for Other Duties

The card offloads network processing from the CPU and leaves the board's integrated Ethernet ports available for separate networks or management traffic. It suits standard ATX towers and slim small-form-factor cases alike without needing additional power connectors.

Questions about this item

What comes in the box and do I need to buy anything else?

The card ships with both a full-height and a low-profile bracket so it fits standard ATX cases and slim chassis without extra parts.

Which version should I choose for my motherboard slot?

The single x1 PCIe interface works in any x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot, so no version choice is required.

What does the 10/100/1000Mbps rating mean once the card is installed?

Each of the two RJ45 ports auto-negotiates to 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps, giving dual gigabit throughput for NAS, server or desktop use.
