Adds a single gigabit RJ45 port via PCIe 1.1 x1 using an Intel 82574L controller with server-grade offloads and PXE boot support
The SMUGDESK EXPI9301CT is a single-port Gigabit Ethernet adapter built around the Intel 82574L controller. It connects through a PCIe 1.1 x1 interface and provides one RJ45 jack that auto-negotiates 10, 100 or 1000 Mbps speeds. The card targets desktop and entry-level server users who need a reliable wired link for diskless boot, soft-router or NAS tasks.
This card replaces a faulty motherboard port or adds a second independent network interface without occupying a larger slot. The jump is worth it when you need server-grade offload such as TCP/UDP/IP checksum, RSS receive-side scaling, 9KB Jumbo Frames, 802.1Q VLAN tagging and 802.1p QoS to reduce CPU load. Native PXE boot ROM and Wake-on-LAN enable diskless workstation deployment and remote power-on.
A full-height bracket and a low-profile half-height bracket are included for ATX and SFF chassis. The PCIe x1 connector works in x1, x4, x8 or x16 slots running at 2.5 GT/s. Driver support covers Windows 7, 10, 11, Windows Server, CentOS, Ubuntu, Debian, FreeBSD and VMware ESXi. A built-in LINK/ACT LED gives immediate visual status. Buyers who need multi-port aggregation or fibre connectivity will need a different adapter.

The card ships with both a full-height bracket and a low-profile half-height bracket so it installs in standard ATX towers or slim small-form-factor chassis without extra parts.
The PCIe 1.1 x1 edge connector fits any PCIe x1, x4, x8 or x16 slot on desktop or entry-server motherboards; insert it fully until the bracket screw aligns, a step often missed on longer slots.
The port auto-negotiates 10/100/1000 Mbps per IEEE 802.3ab and supports runs up to 100 m with Cat5e or Cat6 cabling.
