Four-port 10G SFP+ network adapter with Intel X710 controller, PCIe 3.0 X8, dual brackets and passive heatsink for servers and NAS
The SMUGDESK ST7219 is a four-port 10GbE SFP+ network adapter built around the Intel X710-BM1 controller. It targets administrators upgrading rack servers, NAS appliances or virtual hosts that need aggregated 10G throughput. The card fits mainstream platforms running Windows 11, 10, Server editions, Linux distributions or VMware ESXi. It does not support macOS environments.
A PCIe 3.0 X8 interface running at 8.0GT/s supplies sufficient bandwidth for storage pooling and multi-WAN routing while remaining backward compatible with larger slots. The package includes both full-height and low-profile brackets so the same card installs in standard towers or slim rack chassis. A large passive aluminum heatsink maintains stable operation across a 0 to 55 Celsius range without active cooling.
Hardware acceleration covers SR-IOV, VMDq, VXLAN and NVGRE tunnel offload plus IEEE 1588 PTP and jumbo frames up to 9KB to reduce host CPU load under heavy traffic. Four open SFP+ cages accept multimode or single-mode transceivers, direct-attach copper cables or active optical cables for flexible short and long-distance links. Each port auto-negotiates between 10G and 1G speeds. No transceivers or cables are bundled.

The PCIe 3.0 X8 slot provides 8.0 GT/s bandwidth, giving the four SFP+ ports enough aggregate throughput for 10 Gbps line rate on each port.
Both a full-height bracket and a low-profile bracket are supplied, so the adapter fits standard tower cases and slim rack-mount servers.
Insert the SFP+ module or DAC/AOC cable until it clicks; the common error is not seating the latch fully, which breaks the link.
