65-Foot Active USB 3.0 Extension

This 65-foot active USB 3.0 extension cable uses three built-in signal boosters to carry data over long distances without attenuation. A USB Type-A male connector plugs into the host while a Type-A female port accepts the peripheral. The design combines tinned copper conductors with foil braided shielding for reliable transmission.

Suits distant peripherals.

The cable works well for webcams, printers, VR headsets, external drives and hubs placed far from the computer. It is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices and includes a 5V/2A power adapter for stable operation. Peripherals that draw more than 900mA must use the supplied adapter; bus-powered devices needing more current than the host port provides will not run on this cable alone.

Handles 65-foot runs at USB 3.0 speeds

Signal boosters maintain full USB 3.0 throughput across the 65-foot length, and the cable supports runs from 16 to 100 feet in the product family. The external power adapter ensures headroom for multiple high-bandwidth devices such as VR sensors or hard drives. Without the adapter, available current is limited to the host port specification, so very power-hungry peripherals may not function.

Questions about this item

What type of USB port must my computer have for this 65-foot active extension cable to work?

Your computer needs a standard USB Type-A port; the cable's male end plugs directly into any USB 3.0 or USB 2.0 Type-A socket.

Will my existing USB 2.0 printer or flash drive work through this 65-foot cable without signal loss?

Yes, the cable is backward compatible with USB 2.0 devices and its three built-in signal boosters prevent attenuation over the full length.

How can I verify the cable is delivering stable power to a high-draw device like a VR headset after setup?

Connect the included 5V/2A power adapter when the peripheral draws more than 900mA; the adapter supplies stable current and back-pressure protection for reliable operation.
