USB 3.0 extension kit for remote peripherals

This two-pack of 10-foot USB 3.0 extension cables lets you place Type-A devices up to three metres from the host computer. Each cable has a male Type-A plug on one end and a female Type-A port on the other, so existing device cables simply plug into the extender. The set suits home-office users, gamers and VR enthusiasts who need extra reach for headsets, consoles, storage drives, printers or input devices without moving the PC itself.

5 Gbps bandwidth with ten-foot reach

The cables operate at the USB 3.0 specification rate of 5 Gbps, providing enough headroom for external hard drives, high-resolution cameras and VR headsets that demand sustained throughput. At the full 10-foot length the signal remains within spec for typical consumer workloads, but very long daisy-chained runs or power-hungry bus-powered drives may hit voltage-drop limits and require a powered hub instead.

Passive copper construction runs cool and silent

With no active electronics or onboard power conversion, the extensions add negligible heat and produce no audible noise during operation. Power draw is limited to whatever the connected device negotiates with the host, so the cables themselves do not increase the system’s thermal load or require additional cooling consideration.

Correct, the package contains two 10 ft USB 3.0 Type A male-to-female extension cables with no additional adapters or power supplies.
