Wired Gigabit for USB 3.0 Laptops

This SMUGDESK adapter adds a 1000Mbps RJ45 port to any laptop or desktop with a USB 3.0 socket. It suits office workers, gamers and students who need a more stable connection than Wi-Fi for large file transfers, video calls or online gaming.

Check USB Port and OS Before Buying

The adapter works with USB 3.0, USB 2.0 and USB 1.1 ports, but gigabit speeds require a USB 3.0 host. Verify your device runs Windows 7/8/10/XP/Vista, Mac OS or Linux so the plug-and-play driver loads automatically.

Compact Black Shell for Daily Portability

The lightweight black enclosure slips easily into a bag for travel or hot-desking. A single RJ45 jack locks the patch cable securely, while the USB 3.0 plug draws power directly from the host so no external supply is needed.

Real-world throughput reaches up to 1000Mbps on a USB 3.0 port with a gigabit router and cable; on USB 2.0 the link negotiates to 100Mbps maximum.
