Two black braided USB A to C cables with right-angle connectors, ten feet each

SMUGDESK

SMUGDESK USB A to C 10Gbps 10ft 2-pack braided cable

SKU CH-WQE9-DZNPG

Two braided USB-A to USB-C cables transfer data at 10Gbps and charge at 3A with QC 3.0, each 10ft long with 90-degree connectors

  • 10 Gbps data speed moves large files in seconds
  • 3 A fast charging powers devices 25 % quicker than 2.4 A cables
  • 90-degree connector fits tight spaces without strain
  • Braided nylon jacket resists wear from daily use
  • Two 10 ft cables give spare length for desk and travel

Two-pack USB-A to USB-C 10 Gbps cables

This two-pack supplies two 3-metre cables with USB-A plugs on one end and USB-C plugs on the other. Each cable is rated for USB 3.2 Gen 2 data rates up to 10 Gbps and carries a 56 kΩ pull-up resistor for safe 5 V / 3 A charging. The braided nylon jacket and metal connector shells are built for repeated plug cycles in daily use.

Sustained 10 Gbps transfers and 3 A charging

Under continuous load the cable maintains the full 10 Gbps signalling rate, so large photo libraries or drive images move at up to 1250 MB/s without throttling. The 3 A current limit delivers 60 W QC 3.0 charging where the host adapter and device both support it, yet the 56 kΩ resistor prevents the cable from requesting more power than it can handle. Proprietary fast-charge protocols that require 4.5 V / 5 A or 5 V / 4 A will not operate at their peak speed.

Right-angle plug eases tight ports.

The USB-C end uses a 90-degree moulding that routes the cable parallel to the device, reducing strain in cramped bays or behind monitors. Installation is a simple plug-in with no drivers required. The cable does not carry DisplayPort alternate mode, so it cannot drive external displays. It also will not fit Micro-USB or Lightning ports, and devices that demand proprietary charging above 3 A will fall back to standard rates.

Questions about this item

Does the 3 A, 60 W fast-charging spec cause the cable to get warm during all-day use?

The cable is rated for 3 A at 5 V with a 56 kΩ pull-up resistor, so it stays within USB-IF limits and does not generate noticeable heat under continuous load.

What must my charger and device already support for the 3 A fast-charging to activate?

Both the power adapter and the USB-C device need to support QC 3.0 or 5 V / 3 A output; otherwise the cable falls back to standard charging speeds.

Will the 10 Gbps data rate work when I connect an older USB 3.0 external SSD?

Yes, the USB 3.2 Gen 2 cable is backward compatible and will run at the SSD's maximum 5 Gbps speed without any configuration.
