USB-C to DisplayPort 1.4 cable 10ft
This 10ft cable connects a USB-C or Thunderbolt 4/3 host to a DisplayPort monitor. It supports 8K at 60Hz, 5K at 60Hz, 4K up to 144Hz and 2K up to 240Hz. The unidirectional link carries video only and requires no drivers.
Sustained 32.4Gbps HBR3 bandwidth
The cable meets the VESA DisplayPort 1.4 HBR3 specification with 32.4Gbps total bandwidth. It maintains stable signal transfer at high resolutions and refresh rates without screen flickering. DSC, FEC, HDR, HDCP 2.2 and MST are supported for continuous operation.
Replaces adapter-based USB-C to DP links
It removes the need for separate adapters or docks when driving a DisplayPort display from a USB-C or Thunderbolt 4/3 port. The jump is worth it for users who want a single cable that delivers full HBR3 bandwidth and MST daisy-chaining without extra hardware.

Questions about this item
Does the 10ft cable generate noticeable heat or draw extra power when driving 8K@60Hz all day?
The cable is passive and unidirectional; it carries the 32.4Gbps DisplayPort 1.4 signal without active electronics, so it does not produce measurable heat or increase power draw during extended use.
What must my laptop already have for this cable to work — a specific port type or protocol?
Your host needs a USB-C port that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or a Thunderbolt 3/4 port; the cable will not function with USB-C ports that carry only data or charging.
Will this cable work with my older 4K@60Hz monitor that only has DisplayPort 1.2?
Yes — the cable is backward compatible and will negotiate the highest common rate, so a DP 1.2 monitor runs at its native 4K@60Hz without flicker.
