USB C cable pair for data and power

This two-pack supplies two USB C to USB C cables each measuring 6.6 ft. Each cable carries USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 signals at up to 20 Gbps and delivers up to 100 W at 20 V/5 A for charging laptops, tablets and phones. The cables also transport 4K video at 60 Hz and 2K video at up to 144 Hz to compatible displays.

Bandwidth and power ceiling

The 20 Gbps data rate is the practical limit of the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface used here; it will not exceed that speed even if the host controller supports a faster standard. Power delivery tops out at 100 W, so devices requiring more than 20 V/5 A must use a different cable or power source. Video output is capped at 4K 60 Hz or 2K 144 Hz.

Right-angle connectors for tight spaces

Each plug features an elbow shape that keeps the cable close to the device, reducing strain on ports in cramped desk setups or behind monitors. The black jacket resists visible wear and the reinforced strain relief helps the cable survive repeated bending. Users who need a straight plug or a shorter length will need a different cable.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 3.3 ft or the 6.6 ft version for a desk setup?

The 6.6 ft length gives extra reach for monitors or docks placed farther from the host, while the 3.3 ft option reduces cable clutter on tight desks.

What does the 20 Gbps rating mean when I connect an external SSD?

It allows up to 20 Gbps data transfer with USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 devices, so large files move noticeably faster than on 5 Gbps or 10 Gbps cables.

Will the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 interface deliver 100 W charging on my laptop?

Yes, the cable supports 100 W at 20 V/5 A through the USB 3.2 Gen 2x2 connection, provided the charger and laptop both negotiate that power level.
