SMUGDESK

SMUGDESK USB3.2 20Gbps Male-Male Cable 30cm 90° Left & Right Angled 100W PD 8K Video

SKU CH-8W1D-48M5K

A 30 cm male-to-male cable with 90° angled connectors delivers 20 Gbps data, 100 W charging and 8K video in tight spaces

  • 20Gbps USB3.2 transfer moves large files fast
  • Dual 90° left and right angled connectors fit tight spaces
  • Ultra-soft high-flex cord resists repeated bending and twisting
  • 100W power delivery charges laptops, tablets and phones
  • 8K, 5K and 4K video output drives high-resolution displays

Compact 30 cm USB 3.2 Cable

This 30-centimetre male-to-male cable fits tight desktop and embedded installations where straight connectors would block adjacent ports. Its dual 90-degree left and right angled plugs route cleanly along panel edges, reducing strain on device sockets during daily use.

20 Gbps interface ceiling

The USB 3.2 connection tops out at 20 Gbps, so sustained bulk transfers of very large datasets will saturate the link before faster internal storage can be fully utilised. Video pipelines above 8K resolution or high-refresh-rate 8K signals exceed the available bandwidth and require a different interface.

100 W power and 8K video headroom

The cable delivers up to 100 W of power delivery, comfortably charging most laptops, tablets and phones while simultaneously driving an 8K, 5K or 4K display. It cannot supply higher wattage demanded by some workstation-class laptops or carry display signals beyond the stated 8K capability.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 30 cm length or a longer cable for a tight desk setup?

The 30 cm length keeps the cable short enough to avoid slack behind a monitor or dock while the dual 90° angled plugs sit flush against ports, making it the best fit for cramped spaces.

What does the 20 Gbps rating actually deliver when I move big files between two laptops?

The 20 Gbps ceiling is the USB 3.2 Gen 2×2 maximum; real-world throughput will be lower due to controller and drive limits, but it still moves multi-gigabyte folders several times faster than a 10 Gbps link.

Will the USB-C male-to-male plugs carry 8K video and 100 W charging at the same time?

Yes — the cable is rated for simultaneous 8K/5K/4K display output and 100 W Power Delivery, so a single connection can drive a high-res monitor while charging a laptop.
