USB4 V2 cable for Thunderbolt 5 and USB-C devices
This USB-C to USB-C cable meets the USB4 Version 2.0 specification and supports Thunderbolt 5, 4 and 3 connections. It is intended for users who need high-speed data, high-power charging and 8K video from a single six-foot lead. Compatibility extends to laptops, tablets and phones with USB-C ports that support DisplayPort Alternate Mode.
80 Gbps bandwidth and 240 W charging change
The cable delivers up to 80 Gbps data throughput for Thunderbolt 5 hosts while remaining backward compatible with 40, 20, 10 and 5 Gbps links. An integrated E-marker chip enables Power Delivery 3.1 at 48 V 5 A for 240 W charging, also covering 140, 100 and 60 W devices. Video output reaches 8K at 60 Hz or dual 4K at 60 Hz when the host supports DP Alt Mode.
Handles 8K video and 240 W loads.
The cable comfortably drives an 8K 60 Hz display or two 4K 60 Hz monitors and supplies full 240 W power to compatible laptops. It runs out of headroom when the host port lacks DP Alt Mode for video or cannot negotiate the highest Power Delivery voltages. Thunderbolt 5 hosts are required to reach the 80 Gbps ceiling.

Questions about this item
How often should the 80Gbps USB4 V2 cable be replaced under normal daily use?
The super soft braided construction is designed for long-term durability and flexibility, so no scheduled replacement is needed unless physical damage occurs.
What bandwidth ceiling appears first when the cable runs at full 80Gbps for extended periods?
The cable is rated for a maximum of 80Gbps; sustained transfers will not exceed this limit.
Does the 240W PD 3.1 cable get hot or draw extra power during all-day charging?
The built-in E-marker chip manages up to 48V5A safely, and the soft braided jacket helps dissipate heat during continuous high-power delivery.
