M.2 EKey to PCIe X1 Adapter

This adapter converts an M.2 EKey slot into a standard PCIe X1 interface so you can install M.2 form-factor WiFi, Bluetooth or Coral TPU modules on a regular desktop motherboard. It suits builders who want to add wireless connectivity or AI acceleration to a system that lacks an M.2 EKey socket.

Home PC, MiniPC and Industrial Builds

The card supports WiFi 4, 5, 6, 6E and 7 wireless cards together with Coral TPU accelerators and works with Windows and Linux. It is not for users who need to adapt M.2 MKey or BKey storage modules because the connector is EKey only.

6dBi SMA Antenna Kits Included

Two high-gain 6dBi SMA antennas are supplied to improve wireless signal strength and stability. The kit provides the external antenna hardware required by most M.2 WiFi and Bluetooth modules.

Questions about this item

Does the WA01 adapter include the M.2 WiFi or Coral TPU module, or must I buy those separately?

The adapter only converts an M.2 EKey slot to PCIe X1; you must supply your own WiFi 4/5/6/6E/7 or Coral TPU module.

Which M.2 modules are compatible with this adapter for my build?

It accepts any M.2 EKey WiFi 4/5/6/6E/7 wireless card or Coral TPU accelerator in the standard 2230 form factor.

What does the 6 dBi antenna gain actually deliver once the card is installed in my desktop?

The included SMA antennas increase signal strength and range for more stable wireless links in typical home or office environments.
