72 ft Solar String Light for Outdoor Decor

This new SMY Lighting string light spans 72 feet and carries 200 LED lamps on a flexible PVC rope. It is designed for gardens, yards and festive displays where mains power is not available. The polycrystalline solar panel charges automatically in daylight and runs the lamps through the night.

IP65 and IP68 Waterproof Rating for Year-Round Use

The rope is coated in transparent PVC and rated IP65 and IP68, so it withstands rain, frost and direct sun without damage. This protection level is the single specification that decides whether the light can stay installed permanently in exposed locations.

Remote Control and Eight Lighting Modes Change

A mode button on the solar panel and an included remote let you choose from eight patterns such as steady, flash, fade and chase. The built-in memory chip recalls the last setting so the preferred effect returns each evening without reselection.

Questions about this item

How long will the 72ft string stay lit after a full day of sun?

The upgraded solar panel charges in 5-6 hours of sunlight and then powers the 200 LEDs for 10-12 hours automatically at night.

What do the IP65 and IP68 ratings actually protect against outdoors?

The PVC-coated copper wire passes IP65 for water jets and IP68 for immersion, plus frost and UV resistance, so the rope can be shaped around ponds, trees or arches year-round.

What mounting hardware or clearance does the 39in solar panel need?

The panel measures 39in and weighs .52kg; it stakes into soil or mounts on a wall with the included hardware and only requires an unshaded spot facing the sun.
