SNOM TECHNOLOGY M18-KLE VoIP DECT deskset 4-line 3.5" mono LCD

4-line SIP DECT deskset for office users

The SNOM M18-KLE is a cordless deskset that handles four simultaneous SIP lines on a single handset. It targets office workers who need to manage multiple calls without a wired headset or a second device. The 3.5 inch mono LCD with blue-white backlight shows caller details and menu items at 102 by 66 pixels. Seventeen dedicated feature keys and a four-way navigational pad give direct access to common functions.

Capacity and headroom in daily use

Local storage holds up to 1,000 phonebook entries and 200 call-history records for quick redial. Thirty-two speed-dial slots across two pages let frequent contacts sit one press away. The NiMH pack rated at 2.4 V and 750 mAh delivers 36 hours standby or 7 hours talk time before a recharge is required. Four-line call handling keeps active and held calls separate, but the handset cannot juggle more than four concurrent lines.

DECT interface practical limits

The DECT radio links the deskset to a compatible base station for voice and signalling. Calls stay within the DECT coverage area; moving beyond range drops the connection. XML and LDAP remote phonebooks need a reachable server on the same network. Three-way local conferencing works on the handset itself, while larger conferences rely on the network side. A 2.5 mm corded headset jack is the only wired audio option; no Bluetooth or Wi-Fi radios are present.
