SOEWIOU E-1062 2.0 15 W desktop speakers

The SOEWIOU E-1062 is a 2.0 channel multimedia speaker system delivering 15 watts of total power. It connects via USB for power and a 3.5 mm auxiliary cable for audio, making it compatible with desktops, laptops, tablets and phones. Touch controls manage volume and lighting. The compact black ABS cabinets sit on a desk without wall mounting.

Frequency response limited to 16 KHz

The drivers reproduce frequencies up to 16 KHz, which covers most spoken dialogue and mid-range music detail. Higher treble harmonics above this point are not reproduced, so very bright cymbals or synthetic highs may sound subdued. The 5 volt USB power supply caps maximum output, so the system cannot reach high sound pressure levels in large rooms. Bass extension is constrained by the small 2 inch driver size.

Plug-and-play setup with two cables

Installation requires inserting the USB plug into a 5 volt port and the 3.5 mm jack into a headphone or line-out socket; no drivers are needed. A USB-C adapter is included for devices lacking a Type-A port. Common issues include low volume if the host USB port cannot supply sufficient current, or ground-loop hum when the computer and speaker share a power strip. The touch panel can be overly sensitive, causing accidental volume changes.

Questions about this item

Should I pick the 2.0 stereo pair or a single-unit alternative?

This model is a fixed 2.0 stereo pair with two 2-inch drivers delivering 15 W total RMS output; no single-unit version exists in this range.

What does the 15 W rating mean when the speakers are connected to a laptop?

At 5 V USB power the system produces up to 15 W RMS across both channels, giving clear stereo sound for gaming, movies and music at desktop listening distances.

How does the 3.5 mm aux and USB connection limit the maximum frequency?

The analog 3.5 mm input and USB power feed a driver rated to 16 KHz, so audible content above that frequency will roll off naturally.
