Thin 0.47-inch helmet Bluetooth headset

The SOEWIOU HM-1 is a new on-ear Bluetooth headset built for motorcycle helmets. It delivers music, GPS prompts and phone calls through 40 mm speaker units and an ENC microphone. The slim profile fits tight helmet cavities without heavy modification.

Riders needing all-day audio and simple controls

Suits motorcyclists who want up to 50 hours of use per charge and large glove-friendly buttons for play, volume and voice-assistant activation. Automatic call answering keeps hands on the bars. Buyers whose helmets lack speaker recesses deeper than 0.47 inch or who require app-based configuration should look elsewhere.

50-hour battery life from a one-hour charge

A lithium-ion cell provides 50 hours of operating time and recharges fully in one hour. This single figure decides whether the headset covers a full touring day or a week of commutes without needing a cable.

Questions about this item

How do I install the HM-1 headset in my helmet and what is the common mistake to avoid?

Slide the 0.47in thick speakers into the helmet's ear pockets; the step riders miss is checking pocket depth first — if too shallow, remove foam to fit the 40MM units.

What maintenance or replacement will the HM-1 need over time?

The lithium-ion battery lasts 50 hours per 1-hour charge; expect capacity fade after several hundred cycles, eventually requiring unit replacement.

What limit appears first during a long ride with the HM-1?

Battery life caps at 50 hours; Bluetooth range drops at 30 meters; IPX7 handles rain but not pressurised jets.
