SOEWIOU T5 two-way radio 22ch 3km Silver 2-pack

Silver two-pack for family and field use

The SOEWIOU T5 two-way radio set includes two silver handsets, each offering 22 FRS channels and 99 CTCSS privacy codes for up to 2178 channel combinations. They operate on the 462.5500-462.7250MHz, 462.5625-462.7125MHz and 467.5625-467.7125MHz frequency bands. A green back-lit LCD and built-in LED flashlight support low-light operation.

Check power and accessory fit before ordering

Each radio requires four AAA batteries, which are not supplied in the package. The earphone jack accepts a 2.5mm plug for private listening. Verify that your group can use FRS frequencies without a licence in your region. The water-resistant shell handles splashes but is not rated for submersion.

Thermals noise and power draw in normal use

The radios draw power from four AAA cells per unit at 6 volts nominal. There is no cooling fan, so operation is silent apart from speaker audio. The compact 1.0 in x 2.0 in x 5.8 in body stays cool during typical push-to-talk or VOX duty cycles. Range reaches up to 3 kilometer in open terrain and 0.6-1.2 miles in built-up areas.
