Mobile VR Headset for Smartphones

The SOEWIOU VR Headset with Remote turns a 3.5 to 6 inch smartphone into a personal 3D cinema or gaming viewer. It is aimed at kids and adults who want an affordable entry into virtual reality without a PC or console tether. The headset includes integrated stereo HIFI headphones and a wireless remote for basic navigation. It suits casual users seeking immersive video and simple 3D game experiences.

Adjustable Optics and Phone Fit

Installation consists of opening the front lid, sliding the phone into the clamp, and closing the lid securely. The 42mm aspherical resin lenses offer adjustable focal length and interpupillary distance (IPD) so each user can sharpen the image and reduce eye strain. A common issue is finding the exact sweet spot for both adjustments simultaneously; slight misalignment can leave the picture blurry at the edges. The remote requires two AAA batteries which are not supplied in the box.

100-120° Field of View and Vision Limits

The headset delivers a 100 to 120 degree field of view that fills peripheral vision for most 3D videos and mobile VR apps. It accommodates myopia up to 600 degrees, allowing many short-sighted users to enjoy content without wearing glasses inside the unit. Beyond that prescription range the image will remain unfocused because the focal adjustment runs out. The 3.5mm wired headphones provide 20 to 20000Hz frequency response at 112dB sensitivity and 320 ohms impedance for clear audio within the closed-back design.
