Studio-Grade Analog Channel Strip
The Solid State Logic Revival 4000 condenses the circuitry of the classic 4000 series consoles into a single rack unit. It targets engineers who want the sound of E and B-series hardware for studio tracking or live rigs without a full desk.
Rackmount Integration and Signal Flow
The 1 RU format fits standard racks and uses fully analog signal paths. Routing flexibility lets you place the dynamics and de-esser after the EQ, so gain-staging decisions stay logical during a session.
Four-Band EQ and Dynamics Headroom
The parametric EQ covers low, low-mid, high-mid and high bands with switchable Brown or 242 Black Knob character and adjustable Q. The Jensen transformer preamp and Class-A VCA compressor deliver clean gain and smooth compression up to a 10:1 ratio before the circuit saturates.

Questions about this item
How do I confirm the Jensen transformer-balanced mic preamp is operating correctly on the Revival 4000?
Engage the mic preamp and monitor the 5-segment gain-reduction meter on the dynamics section; steady green LEDs with signal present and no clipping indicate proper operation.
What comes in the box with the Revival 4000 and what must I purchase separately?
The unit ships as a 1 RU all-analog channel strip; you will need to supply XLR cables, a rack mount or shelf, and a suitable power source.
Should I choose the Brown Knob or Black Knob EQ mode on the 4-band parametric EQ?
Select Brown Knob for the classic E-series 4000 console character or Black Knob for the 242 EQ response; both cover low, low-mid, high-mid, and high bands with adjustable Q.
