E1.S 9.5mm enterprise SSD delivering 7.68TB capacity with PCIe 4.0 speeds up to 6600 MB/s read and 4200 MB/s write
Model 7.68TB E1.S 9.5mm
This Solidigm D7-P5520 enterprise SSD provides 7.68TB of capacity in an E1.S 9.5mm form factor using 144L TLC 3D NAND. It is built for data-centre servers that need high-density read-intensive storage with a PCI-Express 4.0 interface. The drive delivers up to 6600 MBps sequential read and 4200 MBps sequential write speeds. It is not suited for systems that lack an E1.S backplane or that require a different physical height.
The drive slots directly into an E1.S 9.5mm cage, freeing traditional 2.5-inch or M.2 bays for other devices. Its PCI-Express 4.0 x4 electrical interface supports 1100000 IOPS random read and 220000 IOPS random write performance without a separate power cable. Builders without an EDSFF backplane cannot install this module, and no adapter is included in the single pack.
Active power draw reaches 18W while idle consumption sits at 5W, so system cooling must accommodate that thermal load. The drive tolerates 2.17 GRMS operating vibration from 5 to 700 Hz and 3.13 GRMS non-operating vibration up to 800 Hz. It withstands 1000 G shock at 0.5 msec and carries a 2000000-hour MTBF rating with 14.0 PBW endurance.
