SonicWall TZ270W Desktop Firewall Appliance

It is built for small and mid-sized organisations as well as distributed enterprises with SD-Branch locations that need automated, real-time breach detection and prevention in a compact form factor.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This appliance suits IT teams that want high port density with up to ten Gigabit Ethernet interfaces and the option of a second power supply for redundancy. Buyers who need rackmount hardware or who require more than 256 GB of expandable storage for logging and reporting should consider a different platform.

Gen 7 hardware with Zero-Touch Deployment

The seventh-generation architecture delivers industry-validated security effectiveness and best-in-class price-performance for encrypted web traffic and high-speed mobility. Zero-Touch Deployment allows simultaneous rollout across multiple sites with minimal IT involvement, while the integrated wireless access point consolidates network security and Wi-Fi in one desktop unit.
