Adds two NVMe SSD slots, one 10GbE port and two 10Gbps USB-C ports in a single PCIe card
The Sonnet McFiver Multifunction PCIe Card combines two high-performance M.2 NVMe SSD slots, one 10GBASE-T Ethernet port and two 10Gbps USB-C ports on a single full-height add-in card. It works with Mac, Windows and Linux systems to add storage, networking and connectivity without occupying multiple expansion slots. The design supports up to 16TB of NVMe storage across both slots.
The card prevents SSD thermal throttling during sustained workloads so storage performance remains consistent. The 10GBASE-T port connects to existing copper cabling and supports NBASE-T technology for negotiated speeds. AVB compliance makes the Ethernet link suitable for time-sensitive audio and video streams. Power draw and acoustics are governed by the host system and slot airflow.
Each USB-C port delivers the full 10Gbps bandwidth from a dedicated USB 3.2 Gen 2 controller, avoiding shared-bus bottlenecks. The single-card layout removes the need for separate adapter cards, saving chassis space and simplifying cable routing. No bundled software is mentioned; driver support comes from the operating system. Buyers who need more than two NVMe drives or additional 10GbE ports will require extra cards.

Install the card into a full-height PCIe slot on your Mac, Windows or Linux system; the common error is using a low-profile bracket or half-height slot that physically blocks the dual M.2 NVMe slots and rear ports.
The card itself has no moving parts or scheduled service items; only the M.2 NVMe SSDs you add may eventually require replacement if they reach their write-endurance limits.
The dual M.2 NVMe slots and 10GBASE-T Ethernet port share the PCIe interface bandwidth, so combined storage and network traffic will hit the bus ceiling before the individual 10Gbps USB-C controllers saturate.
