Single-Module Desktop Enclosure

The Sonnet Technologies DuoModo enclosure houses one interchangeable DuoModo Expansion Module. Its rugged aluminium chassis matches the unit used in the Echo III Desktop, measuring 3.5 inches wide by 16.7 inches deep by 9 inches high. The ATX and Micro ATX mid-tower form factor suits desktop workstations that need flexible expansion. Designed and made in the USA, it carries a two-year product warranty.

Installation and common issues

The enclosure accepts a single DuoModo module that slides into the chassis for tool-free swaps. Users must verify that the chosen module fits the 3.5-inch width and 16.7-inch depth before purchase. The most frequent problem is selecting a module that exceeds the internal depth, preventing the cover from closing. No additional mounting hardware is required beyond what the module provides.

Who this suits and who should look elsewhere

This enclosure suits professionals who need a compact, US-built chassis for one DuoModo module and value the ability to swap modules quickly. It is not for buyers who want to install multiple expansion modules at once, nor for builders requiring a full-size ATX case with room for standard motherboards, graphics cards or drive bays.
