Compact full-frame mirrorless body for everyday

The Sony Alpha a7C pairs a 24.2MP Exmor R BSI sensor with a BIONZ X processor inside a silver body designed for all-day portability. It delivers up to 15 stops of dynamic range and ISO 50-204800 sensitivity. A 693-point hybrid AF system with 425 contrast areas tracks moving subjects at 10 fps. UHD 4K30p video supports HLG and S-Log3 gammas for flexible grading.

Included accessories shape daily handling

The bundle adds a 32GB SanDisk Extreme PRO card rated at 95MB/s, an ULTIMAXX slave flash, and two tripods — a 72-inch model and a 6.5-inch tabletop pistol grip. A medium gadget bag, wrist strap, mini HDMI cable, blower, card reader, cloth, cleaning kit and pen complete the kit. These extras let you shoot, stabilise, transfer and maintain the camera without separate purchases.

Full-frame sensor and 4K30p set practical limits

The 24.2MP resolution caps cropping headroom compared with higher-megapixel bodies. Video tops out at UHD 4K30p, so higher frame rates or 6K capture are unavailable. Continuous shooting reaches 10 fps, which may restrict fast-action sequences. The single card slot relies on the supplied 32GB media, limiting extended 4K sessions without offloading.

Questions about this item

What UHS speed class does the included 32GB SanDisk Extreme PRO card support, and what write speed does that cap in practice?

The SanDisk 32GB Extreme PRO card is rated at 95MB/s read speed; its UHS-I interface caps sustained write performance at that bus limit.

What are the dimensions of the two included tripods, and which mounting thread does the camera body use?

The bundle includes a 72-inch tripod and a 6.5-inch tabletop pistol-grip tripod; both mount to the camera's standard 1/4"-20 thread.

How do you attach the ULTIMAXX digital slave flash to the a7C, and what setting on the camera is often overlooked?

Slide the flash into the Multi-Interface Shoe until it clicks, then enable "External Flash" in the camera menu so the slave fires in sync.
