Compact Full-Frame Camera and Fast Zoom Kit

This kit pairs the Sony Alpha a7C mirrorless body with the FE 24-70mm f/2.8 GM II lens. The combination delivers full-frame image quality in a portable form factor suitable for everyday carry. It is aimed at photographers and videographers who need a versatile focal range with a constant wide aperture. The system handles both stills and UHD 4K30p video recording.

Suits Hybrid Shooters Wanting One-Lens Portability

The 24-70mm zoom covers wide-angle to short telephoto, making it practical for travel, events and general reportage. The constant f/2.8 aperture supports low-light work and shallow depth of field. Buyers who need longer reach for wildlife or sports should look at a telephoto option. Those who prefer prime lenses for maximum speed or minimal size will want a different kit.

24.2MP Exmor R BSI Sensor With 693-Point Hybrid AF

The full-frame sensor provides 24.2 megapixels and a claimed 15-stop dynamic range. Its hybrid autofocus system uses 693 phase-detection points plus 425 contrast-detection areas for fast, precise focusing. Real-time Eye AF and Tracking AF help maintain focus on moving subjects. This sensor and AF combination is the core specification that determines whether the kit matches your imaging requirements.
