Google TV aggregates streaming apps and live channels in one interface. This set suits viewers who want a cinema-scale picture without a projector.

Mini LED brightness and wide colour

XR Triluminos Pro expands the colour palette for more natural tones. Dolby Vision, HDR10 and HLG formats are supported for compatible content. A 120Hz refresh rate reduces motion blur during sport and gaming. Dolby Atmos and DTS:X audio processing create a more immersive soundstage from the built-in speakers.

AI upscaling and smart platform

The XR Processor uses AI technology to analyse and upscale lower-resolution sources toward 4K detail. Google TV offers voice search, personalised recommendations and smart-home integration. Buyers who need more than the integrated app store or who require additional HDMI 2.1 ports for multiple consoles should check the full specification sheet.

Questions about this item

What HDMI version does the K98XR50 use and what 4K refresh rate can it actually carry?

The TV supports 4K at 120 Hz, so the HDMI inputs handle at least that bandwidth for high-frame-rate sources.

What VESA mounting pattern does the 98-inch screen require?

The 98-inch panel needs a VESA-compatible bracket; check the manual for the exact hole spacing and a mount rated for the display's weight.

How is Google TV set up on the K98XR50 and what step do people often miss?

Connect the TV to the internet, sign in with a Google account, then accept the terms to download apps; skipping the account sign-in leaves the smart features inactive.
