Massive 100-inch 4K display

This Sony Bravia XR X92 television delivers a 99.5-inch actual screen measured diagonally with 4K Ultra HD resolution of 2160p. Full Array Local Dimming backlighting improves contrast across the large panel. A native 120Hz refresh rate handles fast motion cleanly.

Physical footprint dictates placement

The set stands 53 inches high, 89 inches wide and 18.75 inches deep with its included legs attached. Those legs sit 75 inches apart, so the supporting furniture must span at least that distance. Wall mounting reduces depth but the unit still weighs 196 pounds without the stands.

Installation demands two people and planning

At 204 pounds with stands fitted, the television cannot be manoeuvred safely by one person. Measure doorways, stairwells and the final position before delivery because the retailer will not accept returns for space miscalculations. Professional mounting is strongly advised for the 196-pound panel.

How does the 120 Hz native refresh rate affect motion?
