Questions about this item

Should I pick the 320GB CFexpress Type A card or a larger capacity for 4K 120p video?

The 320GB model sustains 700 MB/s write with VPG 400, meeting the bit-rate demands of 4K 120p; choose a larger card only if you need more total recording time per card.

What does the 800 MB/s read speed mean when I offload footage to my workstation?

You can transfer up to 800 MB/s from the card to a compatible reader, so a full 320GB card empties in roughly seven minutes under ideal conditions.

Does the CFexpress Type A interface limit the 700 MB/s write speed in my Sony FX3 or a7S III?

No — the Type A lane supports the card’s full 700 MB/s write and 800 MB/s read, so the camera can record 4K 120p without hitting an interface bottleneck.
