Genuine 200W replacement lamp

The Sony CX155 module supplies a new 200W UHP bulb inside a pre-assembled housing for compatible Sony projectors. It is intended for owners who need a direct replacement when the original lamp reaches its rated life.

Simple housing swap

The lamp arrives fully assembled so installation only requires removing the old module and seating the new one. No bulb alignment or separate housing handling is needed. Buyers who want a bare bulb without the housing cannot use this module.

2000-hour rated life

The lamp is specified for 2000 hours of operation before brightness drops to half its initial output. Projectors used continuously or in high-temperature environments may reach that limit sooner. Users who need longer intervals between replacements should check whether their projector supports a different lamp rating.

Questions about this item

How do I verify the CX155 lamp is working correctly after installation?

The projector should display a bright, stable image with no flickering; the lamp-hour counter will reset and begin counting from zero up to the rated 2000 hours of life.

What comes with the CX155 module and is anything else required?

The unit ships as a complete assembly with the 200 W UHP bulb already mounted in its housing, so no separate bulb or tools are needed for installation.

Which CX155 version should I choose among the OEM and compatible options?

All four versions — three OEM variants from Philips, Osram, Ushio, Phoenix, Iwasaki or Matsushita and one third-party compatible built with genuine OEM parts — meet ISO 9001 quality checks for beam performance, ignition, voltage and run-time.
