Questions about this item

Does the SEL2450G come with a hood and filters or do I need to buy them?

The lens includes front and rear caps; a hood and filters are separate purchases.

I see only one version listed — is there a different aperture or focal range to choose?

This model is a single 24-50 mm F2.8 constant-aperture zoom; no other variants exist in this line.

What does the constant F2.8 aperture actually give me when shooting indoors?

It holds the same bright F2.8 at every focal length from 24 to 50 mm, letting you keep shutter speeds up without raising ISO.
