Full-frame mirrorless body

Sony's a7R IV delivers medium-format resolution in a compact body, targeting photographers who need poster-size detail from a portable system. The high-resolution sensor captures expressive tonal range for commercial, landscape and studio work where cropping flexibility matters.

Rigid construction with HDMI type-D

Enhanced body rigidity improves handling during extended shoots and supports professional accessories without flex. An HDMI type-D output allows direct connection to an HDTV for immediate playback and client review on location or in the studio.

OLED viewfinder for critical focus

The electronic viewfinder provides a real-time preview of exposure and depth of field before the shutter is released. Resolution is limited by the lens used and the sensor's pixel density, so maximum detail requires optimal glass and technique.
