98" Mini LED 4K 120Hz TV

The Sony K98XR50 is a 98-inch LCD television with Mini LED backlighting and a 4K resolution of 3840 x 2160 pixels. It runs the Google TV platform on Android 12 and includes a 5.0m Austere V Series HDMI cable. The set delivers a 120Hz native refresh rate for fluid motion.

Home cinema and PS5 gaming

Buyers who want a very large screen with high brightness, deep blacks from XR Contrast Booster, and wide colour via XR Triluminos Pro will appreciate this model. It supports Dolby Vision, IMAX Enhanced and Game Menu features for console play. Shoppers needing a smaller footprint or a lower price point should consider other sizes.

120Hz native refresh rate

The panel operates at a maximum 120Hz refresh rate at 4K resolution, which determines motion smoothness for both film and gaming sources. HDMI 2.1 bandwidth on the four inputs supports this rate from compatible devices. If your source only outputs 60Hz, the higher panel speed will not be utilised.
