Verify model number before ordering
Confirm the TV model on the rear label reads exactly KDF-42E2000. Other Sony rear-projection sets use different lamp codes and will not accept this module. No tools or firmware updates are required for the swap.
Pre-assembled housing saves installation time
The lamp comes mounted in its cage so you do not handle the bare bulb. A 90-day warranty covers early failures. Volume and educational discounts are offered for multi-unit purchases.
