Sony Mobile 4K HDMI 2.0 Extender Kit

This Sony Mobile kit extends 4K HDMI 2.0 signals up to 230ft using a daisy-chain topology. It includes one transmitter (TX) and one transceiver (RX) unit for point-to-point or cascaded installations. The system suits installers and AV professionals who need reliable long-distance video distribution over category cabling. Each unit measures 1.03" height by 3.9" width by 4.17" length and weighs .46lb.

Check power and cabling before ordering

Verify that AC outlets are available at both TX and RX locations for the two included power adapters. Confirm your source and display both support HDMI 2.0 and the required 4K resolution and refresh rate. Ensure you have suitable category cable runs terminated correctly for the 230ft maximum distance. The kit includes an IR blaster cable and IR receiver cable for remote control extension.

Integrates into AV racks or wall plates

The compact 1.03" high enclosures fit standard AV racks, wall boxes or shelf mounting without blocking adjacent ports. Two power adapters are required, so plan for two free sockets near the endpoints. Daisy-chain capability lets you add further transceivers downstream to serve multiple displays from one source. IR cables route alongside the video link, freeing the installer from separate control wiring.
