Genuine Sony air filter for FHZ projectors
This original Sony replacement air filter, part number X25948452, fits the VPL-FHZ57, VPL-FHZ60 and VPL-FHZ65 laser projectors. It stops dust from settling on internal optical components so the image stays clean and the cooling path remains clear. Install it during a lamp change or scheduled service to keep the projector running as intended.
Maintains airflow during continuous operation
A clean filter lets the cooling fans move air efficiently even during long presentations or back-to-back screenings. When the mesh loads with dust the fans lose effectiveness, heat builds up and component life shortens. Swapping the filter restores the designed airflow and protects the light engine from thermal stress.
Check model number and filter access before ordering
Confirm your projector is a VPL-FHZ57, 60 or 65; the filter will not fit other Sony series. Verify that the filter compartment is reachable in your mounting position — ceiling installs may need extra clearance. If the on-screen filter warning is active or visual inspection shows buildup, replacement is due.
