Sony Minidome 1080p Network Camera

The Sony SNC-XM632 is a compact minidome network camera designed for indoor security and surveillance. It delivers Full HD imaging at a maximum resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. The unit captures video at 30 frames per second in both colour and monochrome modes. It suits installers needing a discreet, ceiling-mounted form factor.

Build and Corridor View Support

The minidome housing allows for easy installation in indoor environments such as offices or retail spaces. A 1/2.9-type Exmor CMOS sensor works with Sony's IPELA ENGINE EX signal processing system to maintain picture quality. Built-in image rotation enables a vertical corridor view format. This orientation is ideal for monitoring hallways and narrow passages effectively.

Upgrade from Standard Definition Systems

This camera replaces older standard definition analogue or early IP cameras with a 1080p Full HD upgrade. The jump is worth it when clearer facial recognition or licence plate detail is required indoors. The improved sensor sensitivity enhances low-light performance over previous generation sensors. It is not for buyers who need outdoor weatherproofing or varifocal lens adjustment.
